Overview

The Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) program at Unibe is delivered entirely in English and meticulously designed to cultivate globally minded business leaders. Over the course of four years, students undertake a rigorous academic curriculum, beginning with three years at Unibe where they study foundational and advanced subjects including mathematics, human relations, business management, marketing, leadership, and finance.

In the fourth year, students transition to one of our prestigious partner universities, Florida International University (FIU) or Western Michigan University (WMU), to complete their specialized concentration and earn a dual degree. This distinctive international framework not only broadens academic horizons but also enhances cultural competence and professional versatility.

Graduates are further positioned for excellence through eligibility to pursue graduate studies at Boston University, providing a seamless pathway to advanced degrees. Concentration options
Starting in your fourth year (ninth semester), students may select from available concentrations offered at either FIU or WMU, allowing you to specialize in your area of interest.
The Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) program offers a dual degree with either Florida International University (FIU) or Western Michigan University (WMU). Additionally, graduates of the program are eligible to pursue a master's degree in a related field at Boston University (BU).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) is an academic program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in core business principles and an understanding of their application in real world work environments. Through a comprehensive curriculum, our BBA program is designed to prepare you for business management roles and to make informed business decisions through empirical analysis, such as planning how an organization operates on a daily basis and adjusting strategies in response to ongoing changes and challenges.

The BBA program consists of three (3) years at Unibe and one (1) year of transfer to Florida International University (FIU) or Western Michigan University (WMU).

A total of 171 credits must be completed.

All classes are taught in English; therefore, English proficiency is required.

    • Unibe admission exam.
    • Official high school transcript.
    • Pruebas Nacionales (for students who completed high school in the Dominican Republic).*
    • Medical certificate.
    • Four (4) passport-size photos (2x2).
    • Photocopy of the applicant’s national ID card (for non-Dominican citizens, a copy of the passport is required).
    • Two (2) letters of recommendation.
    • Official TOEFL scores (minimum: 173 computer-based, 500 paper-based, or 80 internet-based).
    • Minimum official Duolingo score: 110 points.
    • SAT scores are optional but add value to the admission process.
    • Essay: Discuss a current business-related topic within your chosen field of study. The essay should be between 400 and 700 words.
