Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)

General description and profile of the graduate

Our Dual Degree Bachelor in Business Administration will forge professionals with managerial leadership, comprehensive view of business and technical skills, with the ability to meet the international labor market needs and values that support ethical actions through a program of practical application and a highly qualified faculty.

The duration of the BBA program and its majors is 11 academic semesters students complete 8 academic semesters at UNIBE and 3 at either one of our university partners, Florida International University (FIU) or Western Michigan University (WMU).

General Studies constitute the component of higher education that allows the development of a solid integral formation in future professionals, to become subjects with defined ethical positions and with a critical vision of the world and its complexities, in dimensional aspects such as: the historical -cultural, socio-linguistic, philosophical, humanistic and artistic, sensitivity to contribute to the sustainability of the environment and quality of life, as well as the role of science and technology in human development.

The general education will allow you to develop the leadership skills necessary to be successful in all possible areas of professional practice, as well as a critical, analytical and committed attitude with the environment, the community, the nation and with the world.

All curricular activities are coordinated by the areas of Language and Literature, Environmental Science and Biology, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Languages, Physics and Chemistry. Interdisciplinary connections are established, so that students can approach the issues from different perspectives.

    BBA Admissions Requirements

    Hello! This is the first step towards a world full of opportunities for internationalization, entrepreneurship, a flexible curriculum and academic excellence: the UNIBE World. To complete the online admission process, follow these steps::

    1. Create your account

    Click on the Appy now option and complete the form with the requested data. After your registration you will receive an email notification with your application number and all the requirements to submit established for the career of choice

    1. After creating your account, complete the rest of the required information by accessing your application number and password.
    2. Submit your ducuments to the admissions department to complete your application.
    3. Take the admission exam on the selected date.

    High School diploma
    Official High School Transcripts
    National Competency Tests (Pruebas Nacionales) for students who completed High School in the Dominican Republic *
    Birth Certificate
    Health Certificate
    Four (4) 2”x 2” photographs

    Certificate of Non-delinquency (issued by the competent authorities of the Country of residence for the last two years)

    Photocopy of student´s ID Card (if applicant is not a Dominican citizen, a photocopy of applicant´s passport is required)

    Two (2) letters of recommendation preferably from high school teachers and counselors

    Official TOEFL scores (minimum of 173 computer based, 550 paper based or 80 internet based)

    Essay: discuss a current issue of business scope in the field of study you have chosen. This essay must be 400 to 700 words

    SAT results add value to the applicant’s dossier

    *In case you completed High School in a country other than Dominican Republic, please contact the Admissions Department for specific instructions for diploma approval

    All documents must be original. They will become property of the University.

    Students must meet the following academic requirements in order to be transferred to FIU:

    TOEFL scores (minimum of 173 computer based, 550 paper based or 80 internet based).

    Complete all curriculum requirements at UNIBE with a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA.

    Complete UCC English requirements successfully
