Dean of Students Office

The education of leaders goes well beyond academic preparation. It is necessary to develop a high level of awareness of, and identification with the community with which the individual will interact. UNIBE has the goal of preparing professionals not in an academic vacuum, but instead true leaders and agents of change with the knowledge of the difficulties present and the means to address them.

The Dean of Students Office has the mission of developing and promoting the integration of the students to University life and belief with the purpose of contributing to their personal and professional growth, fostering an academic community that e mphasizes the interaction between the student body, faculty and school administration. For this purpose, the Dean of Students Office becomes a liaison between academic services and student needs allowing for the enrichment of the experience both inside and outside the classroom.

The Dean of Students Office unifies many services and offers numerous programs throughout the year while maintaining its focus on the students’ constantly evolving needs.

Currently, the Dean of Students Office guides and helps students with any concerns regarding the process of navigating the University and adjusting to life in the Dominican Republic. The Dean of Students Office helpful and friendly staff provides immediate and continuous assistance to enhance the student experience, maximize opportunities inside and outside of the classroom and facilitate identification with the University handling information regarding housing, student visa, health insurance, mail services and organizing numerous activities on and off campus of academic and recreational nature.
